Our God is great; listen to His words and understand!
Stephen Mutschink presented the message while Pastor Cliff and Vicki served at Mt Wesley during Kingdom Camp.
Would you recognize Jesus if He were to walk with you as He did on the road to Amahs? Jeremiah accused the Jews in Jeremiah 2:7-14 of breaking the rules, defiling the land and doing those things that did not profit. He said that they had committed two evils: they had forsaken God (the foundation of living waters) and they had built broken cisterns that can hold no water. God was frustrated. They had forsaken the Lord your God and that is an evil and bitter thing.
We are to build our own cisterns what hold God’s living waters. These words are for us. God is eternal and so are His words. God wants us to be number one Christians every day of our lives.
Before you start any task, line it up with God and it will go better. Ask God for His help before you begin any job. Have it God’s way!
The Gospel scripture was Luke 14:1, 7-14. As Jesus entered the house of a Pharisee to eat bread on a Sabbath day, He spoke a parable. When you are invited to a feast, do not go and sit at the front table; a more honorable man than you may be invited to sit there. You would be embarrassed when the host asked you to move to a lower chair. Instead, sit at a lower place so that when the host comes and says, ”My friend, go up and sit higher; and you will have glory before all who sit with you”. For whoever exalts himself will be humbled; and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
Jesus also advised the host: When you give a dinner, do not invite your friends, or your brothers, or your relatives, or your rich neighbors. They would then be required to repay you with a dinner. Instead, when you give a reception, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame and the blind. You will be blessed because they have no way to repay you. You will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.
Let others decide where you should sit. Let God decide where you sit during your life.

Plain writing from Hebrews 13 for you:
Let brotherly love remain in you.
Remember those who are in prison.
Do not be carried away by the love of money.
The Lord himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today and for ever.
Let us always offer the sacrifice of praise to God.
And do not forget kindness and fellowship with the poor.
