Tuition 4
Wednesday, September 11, 2013 • Posted September 12, 2013

Dear sir,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank those people who generously donated to the tuition fund administered by the Mason County Child Welfare Board that is aiding me in my efforts to gain a degree in Registered Nursing.

Those donations are allowing me to take twenty-one hours of dual credit classes, which cost $1,149.00 in tuition. They will put me well on my way to my goal at the start of my freshman year of college.

My plan is to attend Tarleton State University next year. They offer excellent Nursing classes with hands on training and a reputation for assisting with job placement upon graduation.

Last year I worked in the kitchen of the Peanut Mill from January to July when then they closed their doors. I am currently working part time at the Willow Creek Café, and I am saving my money against the need for tuition and books.

I am so thankful that I moved to Mason last year. The community has accepted me without reservation. The people here befriended me as soon as I moved here. The counseling staff and teachers at Mason High School have been instrumental in identifying and enabling me to attain my goals.

Once again I would like to thank all of those who have donated to my betterment and my education.

Very Respectfully,

Jasmin Crockett
