Wednesday, September 11, 2013 • Posted September 15, 2013

Members of the Fine Arts Association of the Hill Country held their first meeting this fall on September 6th at the Eckert Civic Center in Mason, Texas.

There was a good turn out and everyone enjoyed a fine luncheon provided by Judy Uherek and Carol Kothmann. The new 2013-2014 yearbooks were distributed and future programs were discussed.

Chairs for the CHAIR-ity auction were brought in by members and arranged for the public showing to be held the next day at the Mason Civic Center. The CHAIR-ity committee, Martha Kothmann, Judy Schoenfeld and Carol Conlee announced that a Tuscan menu and wine would be served for dinner at the auction that is to be held at the Robert Clay Vineyards in Streeter, Texas on October 19th. The tickets are $20.00 and can be purchased at the Mason Bank, Market Square and The Thing Is.

All proceeds from the auction will go toward scholarships. The Fine Arts Association of the Hill Country represents Kimble, Mason, McCulloch and Menard Counties.
