Remembrance Sunday
Wednesday, September 25, 2013 • Posted September 25, 2013

This Sunday, September 29th, St. Paul Lutheran Church is having its Remembrance Sunday service at 10:45 A.M.. The service is dedicated to remembering our loved ones who have departed to be with our Lord and Savior. Everyone is welcome to attend. The Men’s Chorus will be singing a medley of old time favorites and our talented Bell Choir will open the service with an inspirational tune. It will truly be a heartwarming experience.

At 10:00 A.M. we will have a reception in the Fellowship hall. Stop by and see the start to our “Wall of Crosses”. If you haven’t gotten your cross yet for your loved one, there is plenty of time. We will continue to add to the Wall of Crosses as a tribute to our departed loved ones. Call Henrietta or Don Keener at 325-347-5612 for more information.

I feel a warmth around me

like your presence is so near,

And I close my eyes to visualize

your face when you were here,

I endure the times we spent together

and they are locked inside my heart,

For as long as I have those memories

we will never be apart,

Even though we speak no more

your voice is always there,

Because every night before I sleep

I have you in my prayer.
