London Ladies
Wednesday, October 2, 2013 • Posted October 3, 2013

It was 1921 when a group of woman in the community of London Texas came together and formed an organization called the SPC. They prayed together, cried and supported each other through life’s journey of living in a rural area filled with beauty, ruggedness, and distant neighbors. Now 92 years later, London Ladies are still getting together once a month. While still listening and sharing their personal life stories to each other, their focus is centered around sending ‘care packages’ to our service men/women who are deployed. Breaking from their usual routine, they decided to do something different at one of their monthly meetings and came to Mason. First it was eating a great lunch at The Square Plate and then onto The Painted Tree Studio for a painting experience. What a great group of fun and caring ladies!
