From Register Tapes to Dinosaurs!
Wednesday, October 16, 2013 • Posted October 17, 2013

Mason Elementary has once again begun collecting Lowe’s Supermarket receipts! Beginning August 17, 2013, and running through March 31, 2014, parents, families, and friends of your students can collect register tapes and contribute them to the school. The school can then redeem the value of those register tapes for FREE educational equipment! Last year, we redeemed our tapes for a Dinosaur Excavation Kit. Last week, 4th graders in Mrs. Halamicek’s science class excavated the dinosaur bones from under the ground, put them together, and used clues such as teeth, stature, and bone size to determine which dinosaur they had unearthed!
