Candice Latham Clark of San Angelo and Jason Lloyd Beddo of San Angelo exchanged wedding vows at the First Baptist Church in Mason on Saturday, September 28th at 2:00 pm.
Parents of the couple are Shari & Matt Clark of Fredonia and James & Jeanette Beddo of Ballinger.
The setting for the ceremony was of the old-time western era. Flower arrangements with saddles, boots & hats decorated the altar. Heart shaped and coiled rope arrangements with wildflowers adorned the ends of the pews.
The double ring ceremony was performed by Pastor Chad Barnett.
Marilyn Kahan was the pianist & organist.
Ushers were Shannon Hoffman of Paint Rock and Rusty Clark of Comfort.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
For her wedding, the bride chose an ecru gown of point d’esprit and English lace over silk crepe designed like an early day fashion. The bodice featured a high neckline and long puffed sleeves which tapered over her hands. The natural waistline was accented with a satin cummerbund and the gored skirt had a sweep length train. The gown was trimmed with Vol lace.
The bride’s hair was adorned with tiny white silk flowers and iridescent beads.
Jennifer Martinez of Mason was the maid of honor & James Beddo, Jr. of San Angelo, served his brother as best man.
The flower girl was Lilly Beddo, niece of the groom; she wore western attire & carried a basket of silk wildflower petals.
Ring bearer was Caleb Beddo, nephew of the groom; carried a pillow covered in burlap with satin ribbons holding the rings.
The bride’s table was covered with white table cloths and bordered with burlap. An antique lace table cloth, which belonged to Candice’s great-grandmother, accented the front of the table.
The bride’s three-tiered cake was decorated with life-like bluebonnets and topped with a western-style bride and groom decoration.
The groom’s cake was an old fashioned German chocolate cake, topped with chocolate dipped strawberries and drizzled with dark chocolate.
Members of the house party were Melissa Dockal, Tori Dutton, Hannah Dockal & Kinsey Dutton.
The couple will reside in San Angelo where they are both employed.
