The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Llano County, will sponsor a CEU Conference on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at St. James Lutheran Church - Schorlemmer Hall in Llano. This program will be for individuals who possess a valid private applicators license, a commercial applicators license, or a non-commercial applicators license, and would like continuing education units (CEUs) in: help with fulfilling their re-certification requirements.
Registration will begin at 7:45 a.m. and the program will begin at 8:15 a.m. We have asked TDA for 5 CEU hours (tentative at this time). The cost of this program will be $25.00 per participant if you pre-register, which includes the registration fee, refreshments, and lunch. If you don’t pre-register, the cost will be $30.00 at the door.
Some of the topics we have lined up are: Insect ID and Control; Pesticide Laws & Regulations; Pond Weed ID and Control; Grassbur Control and Grasshopper Control; and Lawn & Ornamental Pest ID and Control.
Please contact the Llano County Extension Office at 325-247-5159 by November 21 at 4:30 p.m. to pre-register for this conference so we will have an accurate meal count. The registration fee may be paid at the time of the conference.
