The Mason Lions club met Tuesday, November 12th, for its regular weekly luncheon meeting. There were 40 members and six visitors in attendance. Among the visitors were two Mason High School seniors, Raena Moneyhon and Savannah Kast.

Lions Kendal Hemphill and Chris Dyer were responsible for the program and introduced Cody Ryan who spoke about his life as a professional bass fisherman.

He discussed the various tournaments he competes in and the transition from fishing as an avocation to obtaining sponsors and "going pro." He and his father host the #1 outdoor hunting and fishing show in Texas and you can find more information at .

The club’s next meeting will be held next Tuesday, November 19th, at noon at Willow Creek Cafe. The program chairman will be Brent Hinckley.

The Mason Lion’s Club promotes sight conservation in our community. Anyone who has used eyeglasses to donate may give them to a Lions Club member or put them in collection boxes at the local banks. Also, if anyone needs financial assistance with eyeglasses, please speak to a local Lions Club member.
