On a cold winter’s night, Friday, December 6th, the Fine Arts Association of the Hill Country opened their annual members’ Show and Sale to a hale and hearty crowd.

The two day show, free to the public, was at the Mason Eckert Civic Center. For the reception from 5 to 8 PM Friday evening, accomplished musician Ken Brown from Trinity, Texas, played the guitar and sang, without intermission, for three hours.

Thirty one artists entered over 150 pieces of artwork and after the show closed on Saturday afternoon at 4 PM, the public had voted R. C. Lackey’s handmade fiddle “Best in Show.”

Congratulations R.C.!
