January will see a lot of activity in the library. For starters, we’re going to try to have Story Time in the library in addition to our outreach at Head Start and Steady Steps. Maudie Bergmann will be the reader, and next Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 10:30 A.M. will be the first Story Time. If you’re a stay-at-home mom with pre-schoolers, don’t miss this opportunity for a fun pre-literacy activity! Carol Tucker’s Excel I four-evening series also begins on January 7 at 6:00 in the library. Ann Scarth will be in the library from 2:00-4:00 P.M. to give free blood pressure and blood glucose screenings. Yoga class will resume next Tuesday as well. Visit our webpage at and go to “News and events” then “Library Calendar” to see a complete January calendar of events.
