The Mason Lions club met Tuesday, January 7th, for their regular weekly meeting. There were 34 members and one visitor in attendance.

#2 Boss Lion Ken Cordero was responsible for the program and Secretary/Treasurer Gene Gammill read the minutes and gave the financial report.

The Lions Club Pancake Supper will be held January 28th at 5:00 p.m. The supper will be held at the High School Commons area and will be in conjunction with the basketball games against Medina. John Gammill will chair this project.

The club’s next meeting will be held next Tuesday, January 14th, at noon at Willow Creek Cafe. The program chairman will be Joel Kuykendall.

The Mason Lion’s Club promotes sight conservation in our community. Anyone who has used eyeglasses to donate may give them to a Lions Club member or put them in collection boxes at the local banks. Also, if anyone needs financial assistance with eyeglasses, please speak to a local Lions Club member.
