St. Joseph Catholic Church Youth Group Creates Display of Crosses for Day of Prayer
Wednesday, January 22, 2014 • Posted January 22, 2014

The Youth Group of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (Mason, TX) has created a display of 56 white crosses on the church lawn. Each cross represents one million unborn children who have been aborted. This means that over 56 million (56,000,000 plus) unborn children have been aborted since 1973. That number represents that one baby every 20 seconds has been aborted.

The Catholic bishops of the United States have designated January 22 as a special day of prayer and penance in reparation for the massive killing that has resulted from the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision (handed down January 22, 1973) which permitted abortion throughout pregnancy.

St. Joseph’s parishioners are proud of the Youth Group and their Sponsor’s hard work in creating this display and their stand to Respect Life!
