Z and I talk to the people on the television set. It seems they need our input on the subjects at hand. It doesn’t hurt their feelings and it does our mental health some good. I don’t like it when the weather man says, “It’s going to be cooler in the morning.” No, it’s not going to be cooler, dude, it’s going to be COLDER. Hum, Winter, cold---Summer, hot. In the Fall it could be cooler or it could be colder. Spring is a toss up of cold, cool and hot! This is Texas weather for heaven sakes.
Z is more critical than I am. At least he verbalizes it more than I do. I’m the quiet criticizer! I do the critiques in the mind; “She needs to lay off the carbs!” “He’s not the good looking guy that he was in the 70’s.” Too, if it gets too much for me to handle, I go off and play Spider Solitary on the computer. I can still do that, you know!
P.S. According to GRANDPA’S COUNTRY WISDOM: “Small minds and big mouths have a way of hooking up.”
