Riata met Tuesday February 28th in the home of Nonie Stringer. Mary Catherine Holley gave a very interest and informative program complete with a slide presentation on “The Hope Factory”, a project she was and is very much a contributor located in Nairobi , South Africa. The program’s aim is to save as many children as possible by providing safe living conditions, medical attention, and water. The on going project is to purchase enough land to build a compound to take care of all these needs in one place.

Riata members discussed the upcoming Rummage sale to be held Saturday March 8th, in the American Legion Building , mark your calendars. This is one of Riata’s fundraisers, this and all moneys go back into community projects.
