Wednesday, February 12, 2014 • Posted February 14, 2014

A Health and Wellness Program Offered by the Wesley Nurse Health Ministries™

The Wesley Nurse at First United Methodist Church invites you to take part in the rescheduled Lunch ‘N Learn program on Health Aging open to all citizens in the Mason area. (Due to illness, the first offering of this program was cancelled.) According to research, the older population in 2030 is projected to be twice as large as it was in 2000. When surveyed, about half of Americans ages 65 to 69 say, “These are the best years of my life.” There are many myths about aging & this program will help to separate the myths from the facts. This program will offer an informal atmosphere & learning opportunity for folks desiring to know more about key factors that will affect longevity & experiencing a meaningful, vital life.

The program will be held Thursday, February 27th, at 12:00 p.m. in the Social Hall of First United Methodist Church. Participants are encouraged to bring a sack lunch; beverages and dessert will be provided. For further questions or information, please call Ann Scarth, RN at 325-347-5983.
