Plans are progressing for this year’s Habitat for Humanity Spring Benefit! Mark your calendars now for Saturday, May 17, 2014! For years now, the Mason County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity has been “helping people help themselves” by designing and building energy efficient, affordable housing. In fact, work has just begun on our newest Certified Green Home.

The setting for this year’s Spring Benefit is the beautiful home of Mrs. Judy Cordes on the banks of the Llano River. Join us under the Texas stars and the lovely hundred year old oak trees as we enjoy fabulous food, wine and live music. The much anticipated live and silent auctions will feature relaxing vacations and exciting hunting and fishing trips as well as fine, original works of art and beautiful jewelry handcrafted by talented local artisans. Tickets are $50 and will go on sale in mid-March. Benefactor sponsorships include two tickets and preferential seating plus admission to the exclusive pre-event reception. If you are interested in becoming a benefactor or purchasing a table, contact Sherrie Patrick at
