This is it.

This is the end.

Time’s up.

Visit’s over.

February’s leaving.

Gotta go.

Spring’s on its way.

Arctic air will soon retreat.

It’s just got to.

And things will soon heat up.

And so it goes.

To everything, there is a season.

Just exactly when is the question.

And no one ever really knows.

Not in Texas anyway.

Meantime, bulbs are coming up.

Fruit trees are blooming.

Bluebonnets are fixin’ to burst.

And behold the quintessential quince.

And yet…

February hasn’t left yet.

Not quite.

Don’t forget that ice storm one Easter.

Wiped out every blooming thing.

It remains to be seen what survived this winter.

Meantime, it’s time to plant.

If you want trees or roses or who-knows-what-all.

Now’s the time.

Spring springs upon us March 20th.

Time to prune.

Cut back.

Remove the dead wood.

Clean things up.

Make room for new growth.

New life.

Though we still got Winter.

And She ain’t leaving anytime soon.

Although it’s getting close.

We’ve had warm days.

After the freezing ones.

And freezing ones after the warm ones.

Still…anything can happen.

And has.

To everything, there is a season.

A time to every purpose under Heaven.

Based on what’s happened so far,

This must be the Season of the Witch.

That’s Mason.
