Wednesday, February 26, 2014 • Posted February 27, 2014

The annual Book and Bake Sale held by the Friends of the Library supporting the M. Bevan Eckert Memorial Library will be held April 11-16.

Friends of the Library members will have a special preview on Friday, April 11 from 3-6 p.m. On Saturday, April 12, the sale will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hours on Monday through Wednesday will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

For those with a sweet tooth, there will be an array of cakes, pies, and cookies baked by Mason’s finest cooks available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit the library with the purchase of media materials.

Donations of gently used books are accepted at the library or may be dropped off at Cherokee Rose at 421 McKavitt Street. Please pack books for donation in boxes and separate the fiction from the nonfiction books. For information, you may contact Carolyn Phillips at 347-4039.
