Reuben Geistweidt Retires from SWCD

On December 31,2013, Reuben Geistweidt announced his retirement from Director of the Mason County Soil and Water Conservation District. Reuben has served on this board for over 37 years. The SWCD is dedicated to the protection and conservation of natural resources including soil, water, animals, plants and air. Through the years Reuben assisted with countless activities including setting priorities for the District and promoting conservation through education projects such as field days and school programs. Mr. Geistweidt was honored by the local Soil and Water Conservation Board at their meeting in December.
