The March meeting of the Hill Country CattleWomen will be hosted by the Mason and Llano County members. The meeting will be held on March 18, 2014 at Nacho’s Restaurant in Mason. Nacho’s is located on US Hwy. 87 North (also 804 Fort McKavitt) on the right after you pass the Courthouse Square. Social hour begins at 10:00 a.m., the meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. with our guest speaker and lunch to follow. Our guest speaker will be Don Pullum who will be speaking to us about the wine industry in Mason, and also his appearance on the ABC television show “The Taste.”

Cost of the meal will be $16.00 and reservations are due on or before March 11, 2014. Please RSVP to Dianne Staudt at 830-997-4729 or Janis Stiefel at 325-622-4327.

In addition, our Spring Round Up will be held at Pat’s Hall in Fredericksburg on April 26, 2014, from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. The cost of the event is $50.00 per person and this includes a meal, and either dancing or listening to country western music. We will also have a silent auction, raffle prizes, and a live auction. The money raised from our Round-Up will go toward beef education, promotion, and scholarships. You may contact Janice Wahrmund at 830-685-3335 or Dianne Staudt at 830-997-4729 to purchase tickets and if you would like to make a cash or prize donation for our event. You do not need to be a member to attend this event, everyone is welcome. Deadline to purchase tickets is April 11, 2014. We hope to see you there.
