Wednesday, March 5, 2014 • Posted March 5, 2014

St. Paul Lutheran Church, 104 Magnolia, will hold a “Grand Jury Investigation” into the death of Jesus Christ as a part of their Lenten services beginning on Wednesday March 5 at 7:00 p.m.

The dramatic series, entitled “Why Did Jesus Die? A Grand Jury Investigation into the Death of Jesus of Nazareth” will take place every Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. from March 5-April 9. On Ash Wednesday March 5, Judas Iscariot will be called as the first of six witnesses to testify before the grand jury. As a part of that Ash Wednesday service, we will also have the Imposition of Ashes and Holy Communion. On the following Wednesdays, from March 12-April 9, supper will be served in our Fellowship Hall at 6:00 p.m. before worship begins at 7:00 p.m.

Ann Mahnken, who directed the very popular “Hey Joseph!” dramas last year, will once again be our director. Whether you are a member of St. Paul or not, we invite you to come learn “Why Did Jesus Die?”
