Wednesday, March 12, 2014 • Posted March 12, 2014

The Mason County Ministerial Alliance will host a youth lock-in at the River of Life Gymnasium this Saturday night, March 15th, beginning at 6 p.m.

Junior High students will be able to stay until midnight, and high school students can stay all night! The lock-in will go through the night until 9 a.m. the following morning, but all youth, families and the community are also invited to a community-wide worship service hosted by the Ministerial Alliance at Heritage Park at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning the 16th.

The lock-in will start at 6 p.m. on Saturday with a hamburger and hotdog cookout with various games and activities following, including a performance by the Mark Swayze Band, a Wii dance tournament, EXTREME Ping Pong, Mason’s Got Talent, testimonies by the Bibb family and some of the Mason pastors, and a magic show by Pastors Wade and Dave! There will be lots of games and fun, food all night long, and breakfast before we go over to the worship service at Heritage Park.

For those youth not driving to the lock-in, when you drop your youth off at the lock-in, you will have the opportunity to let us know if you will pick your youth up at the gymnasium or at Heritage Park at the worship service. The youth will all walk over to the park from the gym starting at about 8:30 a.m., so if you do not want your child to attend the worship service, please pick them up by 8:30 a.m. at the River of Life Gym.

Youth should bring a light jacket in case of cool weather. There is no entrance fee, all youth are welcome!
