The Mason Lions club met Tuesday, March 4th, for its regular weekly meeting. There were 34 members and one visitor in attendance.

"Boss Lion" Fritz Landers was responsible for the program and Secretary/Treasurer Gene Gammill read the minutes and gave the financial report.

Jess Irwin volunteered to put together a directory of Lions Club mebers, and Joel Kuykendall volunteered to take pictures of member for this directory

The Lions Club will have a hamburger lunch on March 28th on the west side of the courthouse square. More info later.

The club’s next meeting will be held next Tuesday, March 11th, at noon at Willow Creek Cafe. The program chairman will be John Olsen.

The Mason Lion’s Club promotes sight conservation in our community. Anyone who has used eyeglasses to donate may give them to a Lions Club member or put them in collection boxes at the local banks. Also, if anyone needs financial assistance with eyeglasses, please speak to a local Lions Club member.
