Four local artists and members of the Fine Arts Association of the Hill Country have been invited to show their art at the Stribling Art Extravaganza for 2014. The Stribling Art Extravaganza to benefit West Texas Rehabilitation Center will be held March 21, 22, and 23 at Fort Concho National Historic Landmark, 603 South Oakes Street in San Angelo. Texas. The hours will be: Friday and Saturday from 10AM to 7 PM and Sunday from 12 to 4 PM with free admission.
Showing for the first time this year is Dayna Haines of Mason. She will be showing two watercolor paintings: “Sea Turaileon---I Spy Fish Eye” and “The Wizard Samudragknion in Mother Mode.”
Returning artists showing their art are:
Frances Taylor of Junction showing two acrylic paintings: “No Egrets Darling “and “ Gobble Till You Wobble”.
Marcy Holmes-Wheeler of Menard showing: A painted chair entitled “Wild Things” and gourd art entitled “Mesa Verde”.
Nan Loeffler of London will show two one-of-a kind wearable art pieces: A bracelet entitled “Red Star” and a necklace entitled “Picking Berries”.
