Potts Program Draws a Crowd

A crowd of seventy-eight people came to hear Gisela Potts share her memories of being in the Hitler Youth and the German Army during World War II. The feisty octogenarian drew laughs with a dry sense of humor as well as shocked gasps during her presentation. The audience heard details about the war they had not learned in school, and everyone seemed glad that they had come to hear this unique program brought to Mason by the Friends of the Library and the Mason County M. Beven Eckert Memorial Library.
