Mason Garden Club Plans Trip to Austin for April 15 and will hold Spring Plant Sale on April 12

The Mason Garden Club has several events coming up this month.

The club will be taking a trip to Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and the Natural Gardener Nursery in Austin on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. We will be carpooling and need to meet at 7:45 a.m. in the Mason County M. Beven Eckert library parking lot to leave by 8 a.m. Entrance fees for the center are $9 for adults and $7 for seniors, 65 and over. Lunch will be dutch treat. The Mason Garden Club will have their annual spring plant sale on Saturday, April 12 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mason County M. Beven Eckert Memorial Library. The club will be set up in front of the Ole Yeller statue. This will be in conjunction with the Friends of the Library Book and Bake Sale. Items for sale will include plants, soaps, gardening things, and raffle items. The proceeds will go toward the upkeep of the flowerbeds at the library.
