Wednesday, April 16, 2014 • Posted April 18, 2014

The weather was perfect and the bluebonnets by the Mason County Library and the blooming Spanish Lavender by the statue of Old Yeller drew the attention of the many visitors Saturday.

The Mason Garden Club members offered many plants and herbs for sale along with some homemade soaps, shampoos, & lotions. Many visitors were in town for the Home Tour, Friends of the Library Book sale and also found our plant sale. The money from the sale is used to buy plants for the Mason County Library flower beds. One of the Mason Garden Club main projects is to keep the flower beds watered and weed free for everybody’s enjoyment.

On Tuesday, April 15th, the Mason Garden Club members will take a field trip to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center & the Natural Gardner nursery in Austin.
