On Friday April 4th, the Cowgirls took on Center Point. The Cowgirls played extremely well but came up short for the win. The Cowgirls came out strong in the 1st inning and played with intensity the entire game. The girls held their own against the number 2 team in our District. The innings went back and forth the whole game, which made it very exciting for the Cowgirls. We had the game tied going into to the 7th inning, and Center Point hit some gaps and defense only allowed them to score 3 runs that inning. Our defense played very well and kept Center Point under our control. Our bats were hot, and we had almost everyone get a hit. I am pleased with how each game the girls are improving on defense and offense. This was the best game the Cowgirls have played all season.

On Friday April 4th, the JV Cowgirls also took on Center Point. The Cowgirls came out strong with their bats and scored 6 runs in the 1st inning. Defense held Center Point to 3 runs in the 2nd inning; the Cowgirls came out and scored 5 runs in the 2nd inning. The Cowgirls overpowered Center Point and came up with the win! We were only able to play two innings for this game because it got dark, but I was impressed with how the Cowgirls played. They came out with intensity and kept it through the entire game; I am proud of each of the girls because every game they are improving on defense and offense.
