Mason Community Health Fair Next Week

Plans have been made by the Community of Mason Health Care Servers for the MASON COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR on Wed., April 30, 2014, from 11am to 2pm, at Fellowship Hall of St Paul Lutheran Church. At this time, vendors from San Angelo, Brady, Kerrville, Llano, Fredericksburg, and Mason are planning to be there to do FREE screening, answer questions, and give information

“If you are feeling overwhelmed, depressed or unable to do the things you once enjoyed, it may be time to take a moment to assess your emotional health by completing a free, brief survey at the Mason Health Fair.

Learn more about the services provided by the Area Agency on Aging, Shannon Hospital will be there to give information about the Dialysis Center that just opened at Brady Hospital. Visit with Audiologist , Melissa McArthur, MD, with West Texas Medical Association. Representatives from The Haven, domestic abuse: Air Evac, Texas Dept of Health, Frontera, Heritage Program, Maximus for Texas Health Steps & Star Programs, Hill Country Memorial Hospital, Scott & White, Brady Hospital, Frontera, & many other agencies will be there to answer your questions or give you information.

Some of the FREE screenings offered are blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, oxygen saturation, depression screening, & screening for skin cancer of the face,arms, & hands Is your blood pressure in the normal range or starting to creep up to a higher range.
