Mason Punchers Qualify for State in Six Track Events
Wednesday, May 7, 2014 • Posted May 9, 2014

The Mason Puncher track team performed very well at the regional track meet last weekend. The Punchers came out as the runner-up in the team title behind Falls City. The kids competed very well and advanced to the State Meet in 6 events. We will be competing in the State Meet in Austin on May 9 and 10th. Kyle Zavala will throw the shot on Friday at 5 p.m. The runners will be running in the finals that begin at 6pm the following day. We will be running with the 5A on Saturday night. Hope to see you there!

We are hoping that the Mason fans could all sit together on the opposite side from the finish line. The coaches say this is the best spot to see the whole meet instead of near the finish line. Parking is horrible around there, so this is the site if the fans would like to do reserved parking early--- It is a covered garage very near the stadium at $12.00 a day (which is well worth the money). Just a little info for those who are planning on going.
