Tornado Siren Test
Wednesday, May 14, 2014 • Posted May 15, 2014

Mason County Division of Emergency Management will conduct a test of the siren warning system on the first Thursday of each month weather conditions permitting.

The past few months, no siren tests have been conducted because of cloudy skies on the morning of the scheduled test. No test will be done when clouds are present to keep public alarm at a minimum.

If conditions are favorable, the first Thursday of each month at 10 a.m., the siren will be tested!
