Bluebonnet Study Club News

Popular author, Lisa Wingate, will be special guest speaker at the February 17 meeting of the Mason Bluebonnet Study Club. The meeting is being held on a Tuesday instead of the usual third Monday to accommodate the author’s schedule. It will be at 2:00 p.m. in the home of Mary Hemphill.

Lisa Wingate has written a number of books including Tending Roses, Good Hope Road, The Language of Sycamores, Drenched in Light, and A Thousand Voices in the Tending Roses series. Also Texas Cooking, Lone Star Cafe, and Over the Moon at the Big Lizard Diner in the Texas Hill Country series. Talk of the Town and A Month of Summer are her most recent published works.

The author has a new book soon to be published and will tell the club about it as well as some of her other works.

Lisa Wingate and her books have been favorites of the club. The programs presented in the past have been both informative and inspirational.

Visitors and prospective members are welcome to attend.
