Library gets a Donation
Wednesday, May 21, 2014 • Posted May 22, 2014

Last Wednesday, May 14th, several members of the Mason Study Club presented a donation to Patti Grote for the Library. This donation represents the proceeds from the Study Club’s recent silent auction that took place during the month of April. Pictured with this article are Barbara Brunken, Diane Evans, Gladys Kaderka, Karen Olson, Patti Grote, and Rosemary Davis.

The month of April was very busy for so many of Mason’s organizations. The support of this community is overwhelming in its financial support, giving of time and materials, and, of course, the legwork that goes with fundraising. The Mason Study Club has thanked the donors of the silent auction items in previous articles and they have thanked the businesses that allowed the items to be displayed.

The Study Club would be remiss without thanking the members of the Fundraising Committee. They are Jean Dudney, Mary Carlman, Karen Olson, Sue Kaan, Diane Evans, Maudie Bergman and Judy Branch. Jerry Carlman also needs to be thanked for helping to move the wheelbarrow from location to location.

The Mason Study Club’s next activity will be “Painted Rocks Rock” at Old Yeller Days on September 27th.
