The Mason Lions club met Tuesday, June 3rd, for its regular monthly business meeting. There were 27 members and five visitors in attendance.

"Boss" Lion Fritz Landers was responsible for the program and Secretary/Treasurer Gene Gammill read the minutes and gave the financial report.

The Hamburger Lunch was another great success with it being the best we have ever done. A huge THANKS to all that supported this project.

Election of officers is coming up and will be voted on June 17th, to take office on July 1st.

The gathering of sponsors for the 5&10 K Run/Walk continues. This event will be held on September 27, 2014. The Club needs sponsors and participants.

The club’s next meeting will be held next Tuesday, June 10th, at noon at Willow Creek Cafe. The program chairman will be appointed and the program will be a surprise.

The Mason Lion’s Club promotes sight conservation in our community. Anyone who has used eyeglasses to donate may give them to a Lions Club member or put them in collection boxes at the local banks. Also, if anyone needs financial assistance with eyeglasses, please speak to a local Lions Club member.
