Ashlyn Brandenberger Shows Art At Library
Wednesday, June 11, 2014 • Posted June 11, 2014

The art work of Ashlyn Brandenberger will be exhibited at the Mason Co. M. Beven Eckert Memorial Library for the next two weeks. As a senior art student, Ashlyn chose a theme for her art throughout the year. She stated, “Since I have been a big reader most of my life, I thought it would be only natural that my theme be illustrating my favorite stories. I have always been interested in fantasy stories, and I was so glad that this was my chance to turn my interests into a school project.” Ashlyn mostly used colored pencil for her medium and her friends modeled for the main characters in the books. She commented, “I tried to keep the artworks as closes to my own imagination as I could, without the influence of others. I am proud to say I created my own version of some of my favorite stories.”
