Odeon Offers Free Movie Night

The Odeon Preservation Association will continue their monthly screening of independent and documentary films at the historic Odeon Theater in Mason beginning June 18. The indie/doc film night, always on Wednesday, will showcase filmmakers from Texas, expose film enthusiast to alternatives to the regularly scheduled feature films, and perhaps, inspire the next generation of filmmakers. Persons attending will also have the opportunity for Q&A with film directors, editors, actors and photographers. Admission to all screenings is free.

The OPA continues its endeavor to offer a variety of programming to meet the cultural desires and needs of the community. The association relies on sponsors and audience donations to ensure that it can continue to bring independent and documentary films to the Odeon. Any person or organization interested in sponsoring a selected film may contact the OPA at 325 347 6781.
