"Down The Drain With Jane"

According to Maxine, “A clean house is a sign of a broken computer!” A storm took out my Y5 thingy. Oh, I could still play my games, but no internet and no email! I called the Tech folks and they had me pinging this and pinging that number. After, pinging and turning off and on and on and off, it was decided that I needed to reroute wires!

Okay, I have a few loose wires that I know of, but rerouting? I’m not an electronic enhanced person. Plug it in, is about the extent of my electrical knowledge. However, I knew that only true grit would get it fixed.

I got new batteries for the flashlight, the camp light that we keep for outages, my eye glasses, a pad and pen, and called the Tech. back. I explained to him that I was first old and second didn’t understand rerouting, but if he’d go slow and not use any unknown to my ears words, I would do the rerouting. He was kind, and it got done. Really to my astonishment, it wasn’t all that complicated.

No, clean house, the computer is fixed. However, the Y5 thingy isn’t, it got FRIED!

P.S. When at first you don’t succeed, cowgirl up and GET HER DONE!
