New Year Launched by Fine Arts Association
Wednesday, July 2, 2014 • Posted July 2, 2014

The Fine Arts Association of the Hill Country kicked off its upcoming year with a meeting of new officers on June 12. Held at the Artisans’ Gallery in Mason the tone of the group was upbeat and charged with new ideas for an adventurous season of shows and  art training opportunities for old and new members. Rosemary Davis, as newly elected President, presided with an unerring efficiency and sense of purpose. Highlights included the annual art show to be set in early December, followed by an after show fandango at  Rosemary and John Davis’ house and several possible trips away form Mason including the acclaimed Chicken Farm in San Angelo.  Those interested in membership are urged to contact any officer and become part of an interesting and fun art haven in our very own part of artists’ heaven.
