Liberty Hill Volleyball Brings Back Bronze

Liberty Hill incoming senior, Jaycie Pluenneke and her teammates brought home the Bronze. As members of the 17 Cedar Park Austin Junior Volleyball team, they participated in the AAU Volleyball National Championships held in Orlando, Florida June 21-24. The Amateur Athletic Union Championships also chooses All Star Athletes during the tournament. Jaycie was chosen as one of the 14 members in the 17 and Under Club division. Jaycie played the position of Middle Blocker and Right Side Hitter. Coaches for the team were Head Coach, Adler Augustin and Assistant Coach, Blake Vizzone. The team’s overall record was 12 and 1. The girls got to play the championship rounds at the ESPN Center located at Walt Disney World. This is a huge honor for Jaycie and her teammates who played a total of 30 games and 13 matches over the four days of competition. Jaycie is the granddaughter of Barbara and Charles Pluenneke of Mason. Jaycie Pluenneke is a member of the 17 Cedar Park Austin Junior Volleyball team. Jaycie is holding the Bronze winning trophy awarded to the team.
