Summer Meltdown Challenge
Wednesday, July 16, 2014 • Posted July 17, 2014

Our June Summer Meltdown Challenge winners in alphabetical order are: Pam Estes, Tamra Frey, Jodie Kingston, Lupita Morales, & Cindy Priess. Way to go! We still have July through August 15th left of the Challenge. New monthly activity tracking cards for July (they are green) are available from each leader. There’s a free fitness program waiting for you, so what are you waiting for?

What’s in it for you? How about improved strength so you can live independently longer, improved balance & flexibility, & improved mood. Did you know that exercise can prevent or delay some diseases like heart disease, diabetes, breast cancer & colon cancer, & osteoporosis? Just remember, if you haven’t been physically active for a while, go slow. Don’t look for perfection-look for improvement.

We are planning a covered dish celebration at River of Life Church at the conclusion of the challenge with 3 prizes presented to the participants who have logged the most hours. For those who exercise, but do not want to participate in the challenge, be sure to enter your name for the monthly drawings. For general questions, you may contact Ann Scarth at 347-5983.
