Lifelong Masonite, Jessie Walker, was diagnosed with a benign pituitary gland tumor in July 2014. Due to the size, location and nature of this tumor, multiple approaches are being used by the medical team. Jesse was hospitalized on July 22nd and has endured an emergency craniotomy that removed only 30-40% of the tumor.... Tumor controlling meds are now being used to hopefully prevent the growth of the tumor as Jesse continues to regain his strength in the hospital rehabilitation facility, prepares to return home and the potential of further surgeries and radiation to combat this massive tumor. In the short term, many scheduled trips will be required for scans to monitor any changes in the tumor.
The road to recovery is long. Obviously, Jesse has been unable to work since the diagnosis. Though fortunate enough to have health insurance through his employer, Jesse did not have a supplemental policy to cover the out of pocket expenses nor short term disability insurance to cover basic monthly bills and expenses. Your continued support, prayers and monetary donations are greatly appreciated.
