Dine With the Punchers
Wednesday, September 3, 2014 • Posted September 3, 2014 • Updated September 3, 2014 5:47 PM

A couple of weeks ago, the Mason High School cheerleaders hosted an event called Dine with the Punchers. The event was a huge success due to the overwhelming support from the community and local businesses.

The pork dinner and sides that were prepared by Jeff Schmidt, Jay Tedder, Denver Stockbridge and the Santos family were fabulous. There were almost 300 people in attendance, which made for an entertaining evening.

Each senior was placed in the spotlight upfront while Jeff Owen auctioned off a large banner with their individual photo on it. The senior football players, cheerleaders, and trainers were shell shocked as the local businesses, parents, and grandparents battled back and forth for the right to hang their banners around town with pride. We hope to continue this tradition annually, so if you were not able to attend this past year we look forward to seeing you next year. Thank you to everyone that supported the high school cheerleaders at this new event: 5A Ranches, Benjie’s, Commercial Bank, Dayton Air Solutions, Double T Ranch, First State Bank Central Texas, Frank Habecker, GiGi’s, J Livestock, Joe David Yates, K5 Services, Market Square, Martinez Construction, Mason Bank, Nuway, Petal Patch, RVOS Lodge, Santos, Short Stop, Willow Creek, and many other individual community members.

Anyone that was unable to attend, but is interested in purchasing a banner may contact Sherry Keller at 325-347-1122 or by email at Thanks once again for your overwhelming support.
