The Mason Lions club met Tuesday, August 26th, for its regular weekly meeting. There were 29 members and two visitors in attendance.

Lion Michael Cope was responsible for the program and introduced Cody Bridges, Mason County Agricultural Extension Agent, who spoke about his life up until coming to Mason.

He also stated he was looking into some adult education workshops in the near future. Cody took some questions at the end of the presentation and everyone enjoyed his talk.

The club’s next meeting will be held next Tuesday, September 2nd, at noon at Nacho's Cafe. The program will be the monthly business meeting.

The Mason Lion’s Club promotes sight conservation in our community. Anyone who has used eyeglasses to donate may give them to a Lions Club member or put them in collection boxes at the local banks. Also, if anyone needs financial assistance with eyeglasses, please speak to a local Lions Club member.
