The 2009 Hill Country Memorial Hospital Gala XIII date is set for Oct. 17, 2009 at the Wildseed Farms of Fredericksburg.

The biennial event is organized by the HCMH Foundation gala committee, known as Friends of the Hospital. It will support the enhancement of the current catherization laboratory and construction of a new one. Gala chairmen will be James and Estela Avery. Anyone who did not receive an invitation for Gala XII or has moved may call the HCMH Foundation at 830-997-1297 to be added to the invitation list.

“This year’s theme is ‘the Sky’s the Limit,’” Mrs. Avery said. “We’re envisioning a beautiful event at the Wildseed Farms. We had a very successful outcome in 2007, and we’ve got a great team assembled for 2009. I believe everyone cares deeply about our medical care. Our hospital is wonderful, and I know the public is enthusiastic about supporting it. I’m very optimistic about our early preparations. The sky really is the limit.”
