Tuesday, February 10, 2009 • Posted February 10, 2009

The Mason County Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Dinner Banquet is slated for February 19 at the Mason ISD Cafeteria at 911 W. College. The festivities will begin at 6 p.m. with an exciting night of awards and the traditional Gerry Gamel slideshow. Mason always looks forward to this night when we review the accomplishments of the last year and honor those who have worked for Mason’s success. This year’s theme is Mason Goes Country, so grab your boots and jeans and help celebrate another successful Mason Chamber of Commerce year.

Country Western authority, Tracy Pitcox, of KNEL in Brady will be the keynote speaker at the Mason County tradition. Known far and wide for his expertise in the world of Country Music, Tracy is also an accomplished author and speaker.

Awards will be presented to those Mason County businesses, educators, and citizens who have made an impact on the community. The ever-popular shrimp and catfish meal will be prepared by the MISD cafeteria staff and served by the Mason County Queen’s Court. Tickets are now available at the Chamber office for $10 a person. The Chamber will also present several door prizes to lucky winners.

For further information, you may call Sherry Alm at the Chamber office, 347-5758.
