The Mason Lions Club met Tuesday, February 3rd, for its business meeting. There were 36 members and no visitors in attendance.

"Boss Lion" Denwood Butler was responsible for the program and Sec./Tres. Gene Gammill read the minutes and gave the financial report. A report on the Pancake Supper was given, and our profit was not as good as usual, but the club will give 2-$500.00 scholarships to two seniors this year as in the past. A hamburger lunch was discussed for later in the Spring. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.

The club's next meeting will be held Tuesday, February 10th, at noon at Zavala's. The program chairman will be Eldon Kothmann.

The Mason Lions Club has an ongoing program to recycle used eyeglasses to people who need them. Used eyeglasses may be given to any Lion or left in collection boxes at any of the local banks. Also, please contact any Mason Lion if you know of anyone in our community unable to afford appropriate eye care.
