Mason Supports Mason Study Club Chili Lunch
Tuesday, February 10, 2009 • Posted February 10, 2009

Thank you, Mason! You helped us make the first annual “For the Love of Books” Chili Lunch a successful fundraising event. We had a wonderful time serving you and appreciate the support that everyone gave us to benefit the library. This will become an annual event and next year we will include delivery of orders, so that everyone will have the opportunity to eat the great chili, cornbread and desserts.

Watch for the ladies in the red aprons at our next “For the Love of Books” event during Old Yeller Days, where we will be serving homemade chili with hot dogs. Members are reminded that the next meeting will be at the Stribling Room on February 24th at 1 p.m. The program, “Being a Master Gardener”, will be presented by Susan Chadwick and Cathy Hardin. The hostesses will be Jane Shoemaker, Mary Polk, Lynn Hedges, and Linda Kesler.
