Hilda United Methodist Walking to the Cross
Wednesday, February 25, 2009 • Posted February 25, 2009

Spiritual Director, Rev. Suzanne Brantley will present a Bible study throughout the season of Lent at Hilda United Methodist Church. The first session will begin Tuesday, March 3rd and will continue each Tuesday, through March 31st, a total of five sessions meeting at 6:30 p.m.

The study will begin in Genesis viewing the world as God intended it, and then as it is after the introduction of sin. We will then visit the passover, and then on to the transfiguration of Christ and his journey to the cross. We will follow along, taking up our crosses, carrying them, leaning on them, listening to our Lord and Saviour. We will follow Him through the palm branches to the hill called Golgatha. There, we will sit at his feet.

This study is open to ALL. It is appropriate for those that want to renew their relationship with God. It is appropriate for those that want to strengthen their relationship with God. And it is also appropriate for those that would like to establish a relationship with God.
