Mason County Habitat for Humanity volunteers and supporters are gearing up to welcome the return of the RV Care-A-Vanners to Mason! This year, the traveling volunteers, who crisscross the country contributing labor on Habitat houses, will be here in three phases. The first group will arrive this weekend for a three week build; the next two will extend the ‘speed build’ into mid April, at which time Mason’s house #7 will be nearly complete! Carlene and Bill Brollier will again serve as Meal Managers, much to the Care-A-Vanners delight, as they do an extraordinary job coordinating the noontime meals on workdays! The travelers truly love to come to Mason and marvel at the hospitality and generosity of the local community. If you or your group would like to contribute a meal, please leave a message for Carlene at 325-347-2085.

The affiliate would also like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU! to all who helped make the Warehouse Sale this past Saturday such a huge success! To those who donated good, useable items (including the wonderful warehouse floor space!) to buyers who shopped and shopped and shopped the large array of home improvement items, we appreciate your support! (And to the affiliate’s Board of Directors, who set up and manned the sale,...who would have guessed you were all so great at retailing?!) As always, all funds will continue to further the affiliate’s mission to provide decent, affordable housing to deserving families in need! For more information on other ways to help, please contact the office at 325-347-9591 or visit us on the web at www.masonhabitat.org, where the motto is: Building Houses...Building Hope!
